It is good to be home. I have my new airplane brace which is much more convenient than the pillow.
Things are going good. I don’t have to be back until Monday.
Monday I checked out of the Hospital. And we went to play at the park with Grandpa Skipper. We had lunch there and went to the apartment.
Tuesday we went to a party at Target house. It was lots of fun and they had a silly string war. We met Shaun Neff the CEO of Neff headwear.
He came and donated some cool hats. Christian Bush of Sugar Land came and performed a private concert.
Wednesday we went to wound care and they took out the drainage tube. I saw the wound for the first time it looked long but mostly good. We also went to the “dog Show”, a themed party Target threw for all the kids at St Jude. The main attraction was the “Olate Dogs” Who won American’s got talent. And I got my new brace. It is better than the pillow.
Thursday the surgeon said I looked good and we left town and headed home to GA. We will be here until Monday when we must return for testing and chemo.
Friday (today) we sat around and enjoyed life. Mom wanted me to get some sun. But it is uncomfortable sitting in a brace. So we brought a sofa out so I could sit comfortable in the sun. Brianna read to all of us and we ate pumpkin muffins (whole wheat no refined sugar, but delicious).
All has gone well. Thanks for your support
